How to Add Page-level ads of Google AdSense in WordPress

 What is Page-level ads?

Page-level ads is another way to make get more click for it sometime appear cover your mobile screen. Sometime it appear at the bottom of your mobile screen etc. So it is easy to get visitors’ impression and click on advertisement. It does not effect others ads on your website.

Turn on the ad formats in Page-level ads

Firstly, go to you Google AdSense account. Sign in Google AdSense account then you will see message like screenshot below:

It is just simply click on “Test it out!”. Then at status column you click turn on all those turn on/off button.

How to put Page-level ads code in Website

After you click turn on all those turn on/off button, they you need to get code paste in to website. So click on “Get code” then you will get code as below.

Place this ad code in the <head> tag (or at the top of the <body>) of the pages where you want to show the ads. It’s the same ad code for every page and site, and you won’t need to change it even if you adjust your Page-level ads settings.

After you ads code, wait few minutes and then visit your website on mobile. It may not appear immediately  but you can visit from page to page.

There are two type of Ad format

Anchor/overlay ads

Mobile ads that stick to the edge of the user’s screen and are easily dismissable.
  • Shown by AdSense at optimal times to help increase revenue and provide a good user experience
  • Don’t count towards your 3 ads per page limit
  • Only show on high-end mobile devices

Vignette ads

Mobile full-screen ads that appear between page loads on your site and can be easily dismissed by your users.
  • Shown by AdSense at optimal times to help increase revenue and provide a good user experience
  • Don’t count towards your 3 ads per page limit
  • Only show on high-end mobile devices
  • Limited in number to maintain a good user experience
